Volunteer Opportunities
Crusaders Youth Hockey is a non-profit, volunteer organization.
There are many opportunities for parental involvement.
We are in need of coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, event and fundraising volunteers, snack shack volunteers and additional Board Members.
Open Board Positions:
We are actively recruiting to fill the Auxiliary Director Position.
The Auxiliary Director will be responsible for management and oversight of organization wide activities, fundraising, volunteer hours, merchandise, social media and communications.
The position will coordinate sub committees of parent volunteers to execute specific tasks related to the scope of the position. The Auxiliary Director will solicit volunteers to serve on each committee as he/she deems necessary. The Auxiliary Director will sit on the Board of Directors, carrying one vote, and will regularly report on the progress of all in scope activities. The Auxiliary Director may suggest new organization activities, changes to or removal of current activities. The Auxiliary Director will work directly with the Treasurer to allocate budget for activities and will report on revenue and margins generated by all activities.
Current organization activities include:
- Annual “Holiday Skate” and raffle (or similar) fundraiser
- Annual Golf Outing fundraiser
- Annual year end awards banquet
- Coach’s Game

Other Volunteer Opportunities (Small Jobs):
- Fundraising and Events Committee
Work with the Auxiliary Director on various tasks related to the Holiday Skate, Raffle, Awards Night, etc. Any time and help is appreciated!
- Apparel Coordinator
Work with our Pure Hockey representative to schedule apparel sales and assist Board members with jersey fittings prior to the new season.
- Snack Shack Volunteers
Help in the Snack Shack Saturday and Sunday mornings during Learn to Skate and Learn to Play
