Learn to Skate

This is a great introduction to ice skating for kids to learn the basic skills for recreational skating or hockey. Program emphasis is on having fun, and teaching skating forwards, backwards, stopping and turning.


Typically ages four to six. However, no child is too young or too old to learn how to skate.


10 week season that runs from the first weekend in December to the first weekend of February vacation.


All session are at the Groton School.

Required Equipment

Ice hockey helmet, elbow pads, shin pads, and hockey skates.

A practice jersey will be provided.
