Learn to Play
An introduction to hockey, ideal for graduates of the Learn to Skate program. This program focuses on skating (stopping, turning, skating backwards) and hockey (stick handling, passing, shooting) skills.
Ages
For players ages 5 to 9 with at least one year of Learn to Skate experience.
When
Season runs on the weekends from early November to early March.
Where
All sessions are held at the Groton School.
Required Equipment
Full hockey equipment: Ice hockey helmet, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, hockey pants, hockey gloves and hockey skates.
A practice jersey will be provided.
